Citibank allows you to send both ACH and Wire transfers. Your El Dorado Dollar Account works with both.
Important Note: To add your El Dorado account in Citibank, we recommend performing the process from the web version, as the Citibank mobile app often presents errors when adding external accounts.
Step 1: Go to "Payments & Transfers"
Then select: 'Your External Accounts' to add a new account.
Step 2: Add a new account
You must add your El Dorado Dollar Account.
Step 3: Copy your El Dorado Dollar Account details
Dollar Account → You will find:
Account Number
Bank Name
Beneficiary Account
Address
Routing number
Step 4: Add your Dollar Account in Citi
Using the information from your Dollar Account.
Step 5: Choose transfer type
ACH transfers are credited in less than 3 business days, while Wire transfers are credited in 1 business day.
Step 6: Send the USD
Confirm the amount and reference.
Step 7: Done! You have made your deposit to your dollar account
Now you just have to wait for your money to be credited to continue enjoying the benefits provided by your El Dorado account.
