📖 Steps to enable 2FA
Go to your profile
Open the El Dorado app and go to the Profile section.
Select “Security”
Inside your profile, find the Security option and tap Enable 2FA.
Download an authenticator app
We recommend Google Authenticator or Authy (available for iOS and Android).
Scan the QR code
From your authenticator app, scan the QR code displayed in El Dorado.
This will generate dynamic 6-digit codes linked to your account.
Confirm activation
Enter the 6-digit code generated by your app to complete 2FA activation.
🔒 Important notes
The 2FA code refreshes every 30 seconds.
If you change your phone, you’ll need to reconfigure 2FA. Keep the backup code provided by your authenticator app.
Never share your verification codes with anyone, not even the El Dorado team.
