Updated over 6 months ago

📖 When to open a dispute

You should open a dispute if any of these situations occur:

  • The buyer marked the order as paid, but the seller did not receive the money.

  • The seller does not release the USDT after the buyer has paid.

  • There are differences between the agreed amount and the amount actually transferred.

  • Payment was made using a non-authorized method on the platform.

  • Suspicious behavior or fraud attempt is detected.

📖 How to open a dispute

  1. Open the order from the El Dorado app.

  2. Select the option Start dispute.

  3. Contact Support indicating that you have started a dispute.

  4. Describe the problem in as much detail as possible.

  5. Upload the receipts or screenshots to support your case (e.g., payment receipts, bank statements, transfer confirmations).

📖 What happens after opening a dispute

  • El Dorado will hold the funds in escrow until the case is resolved.

  • The support team will review evidence from both parties.

  • A fair and binding decision will be made:

    • Release the USDT to the buyer.

    • Return the USDT to the seller.

🔒 Important notes

  • Disputes should only be opened in real cases with clear evidence.

  • Trying to mislead or abuse the system may result in permanent account suspension.

  • Resolution times may vary depending on case complexity.

💡 Useful tips

  • Always keep payment receipts until the order is completed.

  • Double-check payment details before transferring money.

  • Keep communication inside the app for greater security.
